Simple skepticism about the media sometimes seems a little frightening when it's too much like philosophical skepticism (which seems to me to be ultimately reactionary, like anarchism) That's why it's so important to provide alternatives as the Institute does, to prevent a lapse into an undifferentiated contempt for "politics" which can coexist quite well with a petty bourgeois contempt for the mob getting its grubby hands on the levers of power. Cheap cynicism isn't revolutionary near as I can tell. Congratulations to all your partners in outlaw thinking.
